actual alcoholics would blow your mind on how much they drink per day and still hold a job....or the exact opposite and physically cant do anything except drink.

6-7 isn't a chit ton in and of itself, but it is a lot to be doing 6 days a week. Think about that for a minute. 6x6 = 36 drinks minimum by that amount. That's a case and a half of beer worth of booze per week. Probably more like 40 beers since you said it's sometimes 7. Again, not necessarily a lot when you do that rarely, but that is a lot when doing it for months/years at a time.

That much in and of itself will take a toll on your health if you keep it up for a long time. But furthermore, it's a dangerous path. If you're drinking a six'er or more worth of booze on a regular basis, it's very easy to let that turn into crazier numbers like 12 - 20 drinks a day just to feel normal. IMO you shouldn't drink more than a couple beers any more than once weekly, and getting hammered should be rare beyond your early 20's. I say that as someone who has drank way more than my share of booze in my day.

I don't drink during the week. Do all my drinking over the weekend. Prob a bottle of Jameson or Titos.


So glad NHL playoffs are here one of my fav things to do...Drink and watch hockey.

I usually drink one bottle of scotch or voda over a weekend, Fri + Sat + Sun. I don't drink Mon-Thurs.

22 STD drinks / 3 days = 7 per day. Am I going to die early?
