For NFL fans does it mind boggle you how that super bowl champion

Is considered the greatest nfl. Team or super bowl champ to ever run on to the field with if you really thi k about it walter payton was really the only true 5 star athlete on the team.. And i say that when comparing their players to other players on different superbowl teams.

Refridgertor. Perry was good.

Jim.mcmhan. couldnt have toed marino, montana, even warren moons jock strap at the oilers.

Is thus why they should be considered the true GOAT of nfl teams cause they did it all with so little ?

I dont get the hype and i did t get it when i lived through it.refrigter perry even had his own gi-joe action figure

I can understsnd them winning tje super bowl as any team if they pull together ans have even half way decent talant can do it on any given night. But most polls online have them listed as the best team of all time.

You literally have no clue about elite defenses.

Bears SB team was possibly the most dominant team of all-time.

Defense was great, Walter Payton was a best.

I like that 01 Ravens team too though, similar mold.

Confusing AF Thread m8..... Are you asking why the 85 Bears are the greatest champions ever? ( Where is this claimed btw?)

But having star athletes does not equal success. Look at the Eagles years ago when they blew tons of money in the offseason and assembled "The Dream Team". They sucked balls. The 85 Bears were great because they were a greatTEAM

Lots of teams have tons of star power, but its useless unless the whole team has chemistry. Not to mention one of the best defenses in history + one of the best RBs is a recipe for success.

I admit that us true. In some regards. But the question still stands. Hkw and why do you think they are constsntly praised as the best team of all time?

Cause you cant tell.me if you had a pen and paper and xould pick out your own team from players going back 60 or more years that you would take amyone but peyton for key positions.

Eveb choosing for your secondary would be close

Different era bra. I never compare eras - you can’t. Imagine what Montana’s or Marino’s numbers would look like in the soft 2020 NFL.

The physicality on defense was a deterrent - None of their tackles would be legal now. I’m sure on paper the redshirts at Alabama this year are faster and stronger than the 85 Bears.
