Do You Let a Celebrity's Political Views Affect How You Enjoy Their Work?

For example an actor or a singer with opposing views as yours, would you still watch his movies or listen to his songs?

Cuz I see a lot these days, people boycotting a celebrity's work for his political views.

I admit, it kinda sucks. But seems like a lot of them are libs or support some sort of agendas. Their choice but it tends to get cringy. I would still enjoy their work and I just try my best to separate their work from who they are.

Example: GUNS N' ROSES. Axl Rose is very anti-Republican/Trump. Very vocal on Twitter about this. Kinda gets annoying(especially since he does not make new music anymore). But I still listen to GN'R's old tunes when they sing about anti immigrants and *******s.

I quite like rage against the machine's songs.

but a lot of the lyrics and their political views stop me from liking the band itself. so whatevs.

same with greenday. I like a few of their songs, but i loathe the band.

Nope, don't care what someone's personal opinions are.

I am turned off by movies and tv shows that push hard for an agenda when it's not relevant to the story. (e.g. "Oh hey, I'm a transgender, just letting everyone know. I'm a tranny and you need to call me blerg. Now lets fix this reactor before everyone dies.")

it all depends on what it is. like religion for example, i can generally look past that as a mild form of mental illness. ie, a tom cruise type

but if youre just a blatant racist and/or just all out hate america type like a seth rogan or are donating 6 figures for bail money for domestic terrorists like a steve carell(and seth rogan again among other woke losers) then yeah i am done with you.

Not unless they're injecting it into their work.

IE Captain America and Hulk are lefty loons but I can still enjoy the avengers movies and just ignore their interviews and social media bs. But when athletes start kneeling at a game or something along those lines, I'm out.
