cant wait until they perfect these bad boys and get them going 30 miles per hour with a gun mounted on the back.

Future wars are literally just gonna be a bunch of gaming nerds in a bunker with their VR head sets on flying their drones and robot dogs into battle

I wonder if they become armored if regular firearms would defeat them.

Perhaps they'll carry melee weapons or gas/chemical weapons to attack each other.

Or direct energy weapons.

Perhaps they'll all carry grenade launchers.

Or the powers that be, the ones who feed and profit off the poor (The 1%) will decide they no longer need 9 billion people, and use robot dogs to quell us. They won't even need soldiers who have a conscience. Just loose the robot dogs onto humanity with the drone swarms and take the population from 9 billion down to 500,000 (like the Georgia guidestones mention).

Perhaps they could wage war, but they can't provide a crucial human element in maintaining power such as questioning the population, detain suspected militants, rebuilding infrastructure, training the population, etc.. Pretty much they only thing they would be good at is shooting people and maybe carrying things.
