turns out he doesnt own the house he lives in, and he blew a bunch of company (shareholder) money from ignite resulting in around 50 million in losses last year and being sued by the former ignite president

The forbes article is pretty interesting. Goes into a lot of detail. He charged nearly all of his personal expenses to the Ignite company, some weed/CBD company that he is majority owner but its also publically traded in canada.

The company seems to be only a few years old, so I guess it depends if Blitzerian has other money left over from before then or tucked away somewhere, or if he has always lived off schemes like this. If he doesnt have money put away then he could be fuked. The guy suing that tried to run Ignite came from proctor and gamble and is used to running real companies not degenerate fraud schemes and surely knows the best lawyers. That guy is also doing it to cover his own ass because he dont want to get caught up in it as an executive at the company that most likely violated laws either in the US or canada as far as their expenses and accounting ect.
