To "stop the spread" is the official reason but i think people are wise to the real real: influencing the election. Dems cant win in a fair fight, especially against trump so they are gonna do what they get accused of every election: voter fraud. Pelosi already tried it by trying to make it legal to attain mail in ballots without having to provide any identification on the 2nd stimulus bill. The cant win the oval office, so they have to keep the house and win the senate then they can impeach 45 and then Pence for whatever BS they say is impeachable and then Pelosi is in the office because she wont let anyone else be speaker
