Every alpha I see drives a land rover or a truck now.

Edit: that to ^ the NSX stays in the garage until a nice cool day for a spirited drive! Everything has its purpose.

The big 3 domestic manufacturers all have multiple vehicles in their lineup you can buy off the showroom floor with 500-600+ HP on tap, the fastest production car in the world is capable of a top speed of 277 MPH, and the aftermarket has gotten so insane that you can build a 1,000+ HP car that you could comfortably drive across the country without issue while knocking down 20+ MPG...
It is arguably the best time in history to be a car guy... (Barring the nostalgia factor with the classics of course)

Our office building has four Raptors in the parking lot. They try to mog me in my Tacoma.
They are all driven by manlets.

I still dig me some retro muscle cars. I do like the Challenger R/T with a shaker hood. It’s slow but sexy.

Sports cars are so good these days they are boring and have you massively breaking the law in a few seconds..
A mid-tier non M 3 series is hitting 0-60 in the low 4 second range and handles like a supercar of a few generations ago..What is the point of a dedicated sports car anymore?

i actually noticed the opposite. sports cars are all the rage thanks to youtubers. every youtuber and young hustler gets a bit of cash and splashes it on a gtr or a lambo and features it in every video or instagram.
