I had the exact same experience when I visited Japan. The place was so clean, orderly and chill to walk around.

Japan has an awesome culture. Only downside is it is roughly as mobbed up as Italy last I heard. About 1/5 businesses have to pay Yakuza.

It's not really a downside though as they have literally no impact on normal people unless you borrow money from them or are stupid enough to sell drugs on their turf which one of my acquaintances decided was a smart thing to do.

Even then, all they did was report him to the the police and he was deported back to Africa. No feet cast in concrete before being dropped in Tokyo Bay like in the movies.

They're closer to sketchy business men than gangsters. On Halloween it's customary for one or the gangs to distribute candy to children who can freely visit their HQ lol. They're in plain sight, not even hidden.

Had a friend that went there back in January of this year. That is one thing he like is how clean everything was. Not just trash, but debris of any kind (dirt/leaves on the ground etc)

Ironically for how clean it is there are hardly any trash cans in the city and everyone just consciously carries around their garbage until they get home or to a bathroom.

i am yakuza and let me tell you, being yakuza is actually a great thing. we have beautiful people and we have ugly people. just like any race. I for 1 am a great person, have great friends, and i take care of every one that is in my life and i am glad to do it, and for that i have people that love me around me. also, yakuza parents are one of the best parents you can have. sometimes they can be really strict, but they will take care of you no matter what, and they will buy you what ever it is that you need. as long as your not a selfish ****head.
