Best chest/shoulder exercises to go heavy on?

What up miscers.
I’m looking for some inspiration, and the only exercises I can come up with to go heavy on is:

Barbell bench
Dumbbell bench
Barbell shoulder press
Dumbbell shoulder press

And of course the incline/decline variations.

What other exercises do you do when you go heavy on chest/shoulder day?
Real Madrid, Miami Heat, New York Jets.

These poop on all other lateral variations. You can do them standing single arm, but this provides more stability with load on both sides

People here **** on it, but it takes 15 seconds to go find a bench. I still get random rep comments lol "love the lateral thing you posted"

I haven't done a DB lateral in like 3 years

Smith machine is also hugely underrated for both. I have low incline smith for chest on 1 pull day and high incline smith shoulder press on the other. Easy to setup bands for a better load profile

Honestly I wouldn’t do heavy db bench...not only is it awkward to get into position but IMO barbells are better for going heavy. DBs should be for higher volume/hypertrophy work.

Also it’s way too easy to cheat when doing heavy DB’s. On barbell bench it’s easy to gauge range of motion - either the bar touched your chest or it didn’t. With DB’s, you have to be mindfully aware to make sure your DB’s are going lower than where your chest would be (the only reason to use DB’s is to get a deeper stretch; if you’re only bringing them down to chest level, you have defeated the purpose of the exercise).
*Deadlifts pants after taking a chit crew*
*Typos can go fucl themselves crew*
*Nice miscer crew*
*Loves reps, hates negs crew*
*Faps before workout crew*
*12+ hours of sleep crew*
*Faps during workout crew*
*Hates onions crew*
*Faps after workout crew*
*No fap crew*

If you don't go heavy on Decline Barbell, you're missing out. Only shoulder exercise I go "heavy" on, in a sense of weight wise, would be seated DB presses. I go heavy on everything, but delts consists of small muscles so strict form in that sense is heavy to me and healthy

It works well for me, and getting the dumbbells into position isn’t an issue - granted I only do incline with 38 kgs, so when I get stronger it might become an issue.

I will definitely start throwing some sets of smith machine presses into my workout! Havn’t used the smith machine in years.

Dips are a ****er. I always get shoulder pain so stopped doing them as it was affecting my bench press.
