What's it like living in Dallas?
Strongly considering moving to Dallas. Austin is too far gone at this point, it it will become SF, mark my words with crazy left wing policies, NIMBY, homelessness, and rising housing costs. But Dallas still seems to be a strong move. How long until Dallas is infected? I don't know.
What's it like living in Dallas in terms of entertainment, how friendly people are, and the dating scene/girls?

Why don’t you just live a happy life and stop worrying about what others are doing. Everywhere will be “infected” eventually. Are you just going to keep running?

I can't imagine ever wanting to live in a place like Dallas. The definition of suburban sprawl, and takes forever to get anywhere. Everything takes planning, can't do anything spontaneously.

Look up the James Younger case, that's what it's like living in Dallas.

Re: Dallas
Depends on what you are looking for.
It is big, sprawling, hot, has loads of traffic and a toll tag for all the toll roads is necessary. Property taxes are high, quality of schools is mixed. People with money living inside the loop go with private school generally. IMO Richardson is a nice compromise if you plan to actually be working in downtown Dallas proper.
You will very much want to choose your address based on your work location.
Other than Richardson I think in the Dallas area that Preston is nice and the area around the Arboretum/White Rock Lake is pretty, but higher crime last I heard. Uptown is a bit too snooty for me, but young professionals with higher incomes might be happy as hell.
I like the Southlake/Grapevine area (good for jobs at DFW, or couples with split job locations) and Hulen/TCU area of Fort Worth. Really depends on where you will be working. Westlake is $$$ and Roanoke isn't far from the same, but a good location if you will work around Alliance.
If you don't specifically need/want a big city and you want to stay in a more conservative area you might check out Waco, Temple, or Bryan-College Station.

Dallas crew checking in. My first post on the misc in months lmao. I moved to Dallas a year ago and yeah this is not Austin. Not as liberal and not as expensive but still a lot of fun. Traffic is bad here but not as bad.
However in some areas you will see lots of cucks/blue hair blobs. Lot of people from Cali are moving here so it might be getting worse

Dallas is a car city, everyone tries to stunt w/ their cars. Lots of old, rich white people that have money from oil/land. Lots of fake rich young people that pretend. Really suburban once you pass North Dallas, or NW Dallas/Las Colinas. Nobody really lives in South Dallas. Very hot esp in July/Aug, winters are cold in the mornings but warm to 60s in the day. Lots of tech jobs coming into town and company HQs. Nicely located in the center of the US with lots of direct flights anywhere w/ AA and SW here.

If you have a BBC, maybe you can hang out with Mark Rippetoe and maybe get in on a gangbang?
