Any brahs grow their own herbs?

Whenever i need to use basil or thyme etc, i only need to use a little bit. So buying a package of fresh herbs for $2 a piece seems like a waste imo, when i can buy a plant for $1.50 and basically have free herbs whenever i need.

The problem is whenever i buy some plants for indoor use, tiny bugs end up all over them. And it's just not very appetizing to put those leaves in your food even after rinsing it, when so many tiny little bugs have to be washed off and not knowing whether some are still on said leaves.

Anyone have a solution to this problem?

Vermicomposting works for me. The wrigglers will snack on the bugs you don't want while fertilizing your plants with their magic poo.

Grow them and keep the leaves frozen..it'll help make them last and kill any pests on it that washing may have missed
