A renter left his phone, charger and some money behind

Had 5 guys rent a house for a week. Went there yesterday morning after they left. Took out the trash, raised the temp of the air conditioning, and plugged in the security camera. Went there in the afternoon and took the 18 beers that were left. Went there this morning to start doing laundry, the security camera was working. I got an alert that there was motion inside from when I entered. This was on a nightstand. What to do?

No. They said they were leaving Sunday morning. I went there Sunday morning and took out the trash and plugged in the camera. I received no motion alerts on the camera until I went back in the next day.

Oh so that was there the whole time then?

I'd would call whoever u rented it to and verify its his phone or a friends....if its his phone then u might need to do a bit more detective work or if u have an emergency contact for him on file

My motion set off the camera. There was no other motion in the 24 hours after I plugged the camera in. Today I started doing all the laundry on the 5 beds. That's when I noticed what was left on the table. I couldn't call the guy, since he didn't have his phone. I texted his boss of the situation.

2. call and leave a message - perhaps the phone was replaced by now?

Tried to rep you but it might have negged. Sorry.

So this is what happened: I finished up all the laundry and was making the beds this afternoon. I hear someone come in and say "Hello". My truck is parked out front. It's the guy from the bedroom with the gun. He said he got a DUI on Saturday night and spent 2 nights in jail. Couldn't see a judge until Monday. His truck was impounded.
