I took my XH's last name. In fact, I kept it. It was easier than going through all the bullchit needed to change it. If I ever get married again, I will change it to his last name.

Legally my last name is changed but professionally I kept my maiden name because our firm is the ____ offices of ____ and ____. My mom started the firm 30 years ago

I also debated not changing it because now my step kids have the same last name as me and not as their mother. Felt kinda weird about it

It depends on the culture. In middle east and south asian countries women keep their last name and the kids get dad's last name.

My girls older sister is a nut job feminist (we really dislike her) and when her and her simp boyfriend got married she kept her last name and added his to it. And wait... hear me out.... this simp cuck did the same . He added her last name before his. And now they both got two last names and their kids will have two last names. She mite as well should just cut his nuts off and make a pendant out of them for a necklace. **** makes me cringe and my girl too.. I don’t like them and don’t like him cause of the simp chit he does so I just ignore him at family events. (Could care less if people think it’s rude or whatever. Not gunna be fake to someone’s face. Not rude just hella distant.) and he’s like 29-30 so is she.
