Anyone tried a Carnivore / meat only diet?

Just jumping right in and giving this a go from today. Mainly trying it out to experiment, I’ve heard some good things about it. The main problem is price and effectiveness. I’m looking to gain weight/mass during this but am also struggling to find the cheapest way to do it. Can this be done for say £7 a day? I’m looking to intake a minimum of 3,000 calories a day. From what I can tell these diets allow you to have any/all meats including fish, butter, salt, pepper, cheese, cream and eggs. I feel like if I’m missing out on calories the cheese is going to be a perfect booster to get that extra little bit in. Any tips for this diet from those that have had considerable experience doing it?

So basically keto?

Tried it, but like you're experiencing its expensive. Also last time I got a serious case of keto-flu. Never again.

I don't think I could do it.

I'm of the mind that vegetables are really good for you.

To the point I'm trying to eat more vegetables and less meat (still will eat meat though).

I'd like to eat roughly twice as much fruit and vegetables as I do meat.

More power if your diet works for you.

I think many people's diets work as a result of cleaning up what they're eating, not necessarily because they're eating this or that.

That's why grandma's apple pie rocks and yours sucks.

I find a meat heavy keto is fine. I have no dietary issues or problems that resolve by going strictly meat instead of just doing keto. Keto is already restrictive enough

The closest I got to it was running below 20g carbs/day for like 3 months straight and eating nothing but protein/fat. Was up around 350-400g protein daily and 50-70g fat.

I dropped 30lbs and got considerably stronger. Waist went from a 40 to a 34 (@ 6'6"), decreased lower back pain and felt like I had non-stop energy through the day.....I was chitting almost literal bricks though.

Just to clarify I’m trying this as more of an experiment. I suffer with ibs and have issues with it from time to time, I also have acid reflux, indigestion and heartburn relatively often. From what I’ve heard a meat only diet works well for people with these types of issues and can help them out. I’m not a massive lover of fruit/veg and I’m also trying to gain mass/size so eating salads would kinda seem counterproductive to me. I’m more into the starchy type of veg and I’d like to cut that out of my diet to see if it cleans me up a bit. My diet can be relatively dirty at times and I’m effectively looking for a way to clean it up eliminating all carbs but still gain size from it without having anything starchy/heavy on the stomach within it. This has led me to a meat only/carnivore diet as said excluding cheese eggs and cream.
