Anybody here have or had a lame (or beta) voice in their 20s?

Did it get better, did you realize the truth was inside you all along, or did u learn to cope?

Tired of being voice-mogged. Probably worse than manletism, srs.

I haven't seen enough discussion on the lurking shadow element of mogging.

The voice recordings had been digitally altered to sound more masculine or more feminine by increasing or decreasing their pitch.

The women generally preferred deeper "masculinised" voices to the higher-pitched, more "feminine" recordings. But when the men were saying "I really like you", it was the women who had the highest-pitched voices who had the strongest preference for men with deep voices.

You might be hurting your credibility as a leader every time you open your mouth, and it’s not what you’re saying. It’s your voice.

A study in affiliation with Duke University analyzed 792 male CEO voices and found that a deeper voice was advantageous in positions of leadership. Results indicated that CEOs with lower voices had longer tenure, led larger companies, and made more money — to the tune of $180K+ per year.
The voicecel is truly neglected.

^^contrary to what I said the incels have already created this term

Voice doesn’t matter if you have height, physique, are generally attractive.

I get it tho. My voice was actually deeper in my teens than my 20s srs. Not sure why exactly but it hurt my ego.

is it reallly hard to speak with a deep(er) voice if you are high-pitched? I have a pretty good control of my voice, so can't relate.

definitely something that can be worked on.
Actors learn different accents so its not out of the realm of possibility that you can train yourself to have a deeper voice until it becomes unconscious behaviour.
Breath before you speak, speak from your chest etc.

I've always had a pretty deep voice. It was super awkward when it was in the process of changing because it cracked so bad

Literally the dumbest thing I've read all day. When it comes to leadership, all that matter is position of power/authority and pay scale. I.e. the military, a 4-star General can have a feminine voice but at the end of the day he is still a 4-star General. Try finding a recording of El Chapo's voice.

Is this from experience, not sure about outliers.

What's your voice like, and how has it affected you?
