overhead shrugs...

any of you ****s do or have done them regularly? what benefits did you see in them as opposed to normal db shrugs or bb shrugs?

Did them when I first started lifting as a shoulder health exercise. I don't think they're meant for trap building but more for training you to hold a better posture i.e. doing them before overhead press or bench helps your positioning.

Yes, all the time. I forgot the details, but it involves upward rotation which mostly doesn't happen and you really need to be doing to not have shoulder problems.

edit: pretty drunk right now and not thinking clearly, I do em for a reason. I don't give a fukc about traps.

edit: You should just internet search. I think difference between overhead shrugs and regular shrugs is you use some part of your neck for regular shrugs and not at all for overhead.
