Does the UK have a moral obligation to take over the US colony?

Now that the little republican experiment has failed, some might argue that Elizabeth is honour-bound to repeal the articles of independence and take over the reigns of the failed federation of United States

However at this point it’s just one massive liability and it might be too late to undo the damage.

I can’t really see any other options - maybe place the native tribes back in charge?

Or do you think the tea party absolves the UK of all responsibility?

Well whatever you think about the American's - like with you Australian's you both got the best deals out of when you became seperate to England . We are a tierd old Country now who has buggered things up our all lifes and as I say you two's got the best deals out of Inipendence - more so as your miles away from being in an EU etc or anything similar and answering to nobody but yourselves!
