Doggo possibly bitten by a snake
Hubby took the dogs for a walk, our eldest girl, Daisy, got attacked by something while she was taking a dump, hubby didn't notice cause it was dark, just assumed it might have been a wild animal since we in the country country, when he walked in the house I noticed a red spot in her snout, he said it was probably pee cause she tried to play with Mia while she was doing her business, but upon closer inspection and a napkin it was blood, less than 5min and her face started to swell up, instead of her hyper self jumping and chasing Mia or our cat, she was just laying in the kitchen floor staring, so I looked up what it could possibly be, and one of the things was snake bite, a little over 5min and her whole face swollen, mouth frothing, she doesnt want to move, have to physically pick her up and put it in the couch to hold her cause she was shaking, hubby gets dressed, call the nearest emergency vet, and off he goes with her, now I'm sitting here trying to not be super worried and can't talk since he is still driving since the closest damn emergency vet is one hour away. Hold me misc.

Prayers for puppers.
Daisy gonna be aight.
Daisy gonna be aight.
The closer we approach the uncertainty of life's ending the more we wish to trade all of the things we have acquired in exchange for all of the things we have lost: wealth for youth, knowledge for fresh curiosity, resignation for hope. We'd trade our wisdom for new experiences, but it is wisdom that will teach us that at the end of the road the only new experience is death.

Assuming she's healthy otherwise and not on a mix of meds already, give her some benadryl to help counteract the allergic reaction, although it might not help as much if it's been awhile now. Dogs can safely take up to 1mg per pound of body weight (normal benadryl pill is typically 25mg so 1 pill for a 25lb dog), which is a lot more than a human so it seems odd at first, but it's legit. Could be a snake or perhaps spider bite. Legit could kill her so I would be worried. Wish you guys the best.

Have you looked if there's anything you can do to help her as you get there?

One of my dogs got bit in the face by a copperhead and her entire head swelled up.
I remember racing to the emergency hospital at like 6:30 pm, blowing through red lights with my hazards on.
When I got to the animal ER they were just like, meh and gave her benadryl.
They apparently can take the venom better than we can, if that makes you feel any better while they're enroute.
