Iphone brahs

I heard using an aftermarket charger damages the iphone's battery life. Is this true? When I search online I get mixed answers and one of the top links is VICE saying that it does but they're cucked asf. I'm using an Iphone XR if that matters.

Not true. I mainly use a non-fast charging Anker usb wall brick and their lightning cable. Battery health still at 100%.

The key here is to charge your phone once it hits 60%. It was annoying at first but I got used to it.

I’ve noticed the aftermarket chargers don’t work for long.

i just called and asked a rep about how things are done in the covid era and the iphone 12. She told me that keeping a battery between 50% and 80% was ideal and to try not to let is run down to zero or overcharge it.
As for the chargers, i saw that cheap drugstore brands dont last so i just buy the apple ones

I dont think they affect the battery life but non apple chargers ususally dont last very long. Might as well get an apple charger rather than paying for a new non apple one every month or so.

Also, avoid charging wirelessly/fast charging. Only do it if you really need to.
