Lol whats whit LARP dudes
brb Protecting virginity
brb Peterpan syndrome
brb Schizo
brb Being on psychedelics
brb Living in poverty, so you can't buy D'n'D or a decent PC to roleplay on
SRS though? Whats the appeal to LARP. I have some bizzare interests but I find Larping on the same level of weird as the Furry Fandom *******s.

I don't know, looks like it could be a lot of fun in all honesty.
There's a group that does it pretty seriously apparently, but they're located in Cleveland and I'm in Columbus. I'm not going to drive that far to go to their meetings/practices/whatever. They also go to and participate in the Pennsic which sounds awesome and like a lot of fun. The guy who runs it will outfit you for free too.

By the way, I've met lots of girls that are into LARPing. I've been invited by a couple I know, but I couldn't pull the trigger. I was gonna join as the brewmaster and tavern owner - 100% serious. I've been brewing beer for years, so I was going to brew a big batch of old ale, put it in a keg, and roll it on out to the camp. Erect a makeshift pub, and just act like a tavern owner from 1250. Simultaneously, I would have also been the bard. I've been playing and writing music for over half my life.
It's basically like a big camping trip with a medieval fantasy aspect to it. I love medieval stuff. I romanticize that awful garbage era of human history way too much.
*Look at reflection in car window and flex every time crew*
*Use half the roll to wipe after a poo crew*
*Fart in the gym and blame rotten smell on faulty ventilation crew*
*Fart at home and blame it on the dog crew*
*Watch neutron-star density poop mock me as water flushes around it and it stays put crew*
*Drive 2 minutes in the summer and back of shirt gets completely wet crew*
*Coffee black as midnight on a moonless night crew*
*Fat shame my cat on a daily basis crew*

I LARPed in college. A lot of the people who did it were actors who enjoyed the improvisational nature of it--it's like being in character for a whole weekend, plus lots of exercise (running around hitting each other with foam weapons). Really enjoyable tbh, wish I still lived near my LARP group.

There was a Star Wars LARP that my friend went to. Pretty much said he got hammered drunk and proceeded to beat the chit out of people with a light saber.
