I'll believe it when I see it. I can't imagine him leaving Barcelona and retiring elsewhere.

Then I'm watching some Barca games again

What team do you think he'll move to? Rumors are saying PSG or Man City. I think City is more believable.

Doesn’t Messi have a clause in his contract where he can terminate his own contract to leave for free??

Would love to see him at PSG playing in CAM position tbh. Neymar, Mbappe, Messi and Di Maria would be insane.

So why would he be leaving now after all these years? Cause they got pwned by Bayern Munich? He must be salty as hell.

I am really skeptical of these players leaving their teams when they're already old. As I thought it was a bad decision when CRonaldo left Real to go die at Juventus, as that's been a huge unecessary downgrade.

Barca going downhill, going to recoup and go with younger guys, the guys he won with Iniesta and such are long gone. His only real place to go is City, PSG prob wouldn't want him. He can't go to MLS bc he would get flamed into eternity.

this is good news imo

I really had a lot of sympathy for the Barcelona with Ronaldinho, Eto'o and Deco and in the beginning the Tiki-taka style of play with Xavi, Iniesta and Messi was new and refreshing

but somewhere around 2011-2012 I really starting to despise Barca, their shtick got old real fast

in the Messi-Ronaldo argument one of the biggest favoring factors towards CR7 for me is that he showed his abilities in different leagues with different teams

so I'm glad he's leaving, Messi can write a new chapter to his legacy (every Barca achievement he could potentially still have had would've only been a sidenote) and Barcelona can rethink themselves

win-win

curious to see where he ends up though, everything besides City or PSG I'm fine with lol

He will tear the EPL apart make no mistake about it.He regularly butt rapes EPL clubs in the UCL anyway. He has 34 goals in 32 games against the best of the EPL or vice versa with many assists as well.

Wherever he goes i feel he has 2 fantastic years to give ahead of him and i hope there is no U-Turn and he actually leaves and Barca dont convince him to stay. Those doubting him will be silenced for sure.

26 goals in 32 games, still impressive though

Arsenal (6 games, 9 goals)
Chelsea (10 games, 3 goals)
Liverpool (4 games, 2 goals)
Manchester City (6 games, 6 goals)
Manchester United (4 games, 4 goals)
Tottenham (2 games, 2 goals)
TOTAL (32 games, 26 goals)

If he goes to City he's going to score like 50 goals on the league lol
"The flowers bloom, then wither... The stars shine and one day become extinct. This earth, the sun, the galaxies and even the big universe, someday will be destroyed. Compared with that, the human life is only a blink, just a little time. In that short time - people are born, laugh, cry, fight, are injured, feel joy, sadness, hate someone, love someone. All in just a moment. And then, are embraced by the eternal sleep called death."
