I'm a 90s kid, met and dated all girls IRL, including wife. My friends did MIRC dating, but the girls there were always degenerates. As long as you were above a 5/10, not a degenerate, good prospects, you could date good LTC girls that could work and get good careers to push for your middle class white picket fence dreams. The bad boys still attract girls, but even the uggos had a chance. Pretty much most people were looksmatched. If you were fat, but smart, you dated HTC smart girls. If you were ugly, you dated ugly girls. In fact, a few of my downright uggo mates used success and money to date 8/10 HBBs with good careers and prospects.

So what is happening these days? Not sure if its actually a nightmare, or too many incels here. How is a 8/10 guy going to smash a 4/10? Are the 10/10 chads smashing everything from 4/10 to 10/10 non stop everyday? Don't guys feel tired? Besides performance issues, don't you actually have to get up, go to work, go to gym, have good days, bad days, instead of constantly being on tinder 24/7 trying to smash? I get tired talking to people I know everyday, don't these guys feel tired talking to the same HTC whales day in day out just so that they can increase their high score?

My theory is that there's a lot more guys than girls on online dating platforms, and the best way to know them is still IRL, but not sure if that's the "walk uphill to school both ways in the snow" of my generation.

90% of men on social media dating apps are competing for a 6/10 that has unlimited options to pick from -- but has crazy standards.

Why? The math does not check out. 50% men, 50% women in this world, more men dying young, so actually slightly more women. How does a 6/10 have unlimited options? Unless I'm right that men are lazy to go out and know women IRL.

Males are becoming less socially involved in activities and taking up more things like streaming / videogames, not going out to the gym or outdoors to meet women.

So they resort to dating apps.

What is happening is women have too many options now days. Instead of having maybe 50 they know irl they get to pick from thousands like Papa Johns toppings.

This is causing a large percentage of men to date way down or get nothing at all

It's not 1:1. Chads will bang HTC whales, raising their perceived value. Sloots want only the top tier of dudes. A small minority of men are doing really well with women, while most are not getting anything. And struggle to even get with low tier sloots.

Again, how? Are more men suddenly being born? Is someone lying when they say men and women are born at 50%? If not, where are all the excess women?

Even the most promiscuous of my friends are juggling 4-5 women max, and its extremely short term too. The chads usually just have a super hot 10/10 HBB, because fuk knowing new people, its tiring. Its not something someone can do for a long time.
