How does a woman like this end up having a son like him. I'm absolutely astonished that someone so clearly level headed and graceful can have a kid and they grow up to have multiple felonies and be abusive.

I know a few families like this. Good parents with good values, but for some reason they have a son who went off the deep end.

I think it's likely some type of untreated mental illness (or a lot of times above average intelligence makes things boring for them), and they get into trouble at an early age which limits their ability to progress later in life. Then after high school they have limited prospects for achievement, and things kind of snowball from there.

After listening to his mother speak, I would strongly bet Jacob Blake has a higher IQ and got a rap sheet as a young adult.

that's honestly pretty incredible to be able to face the cameras with that kind of poise after seeing your son's life change so dramatically

seems like CNN had some weird cuts there, i guess i'm surprised they even aired that much of it because she didn't act the emotional dramatic wreck that they expected

The mother and father seem well educated and intelligent.

Seeing this just confirms there is not a race issue, there is a media and political issue with the left using race as a weapon.

There is no right leaning person who would not accept or treat these two people with respect.
