What happened to the History channel and Travel channel?

The History Channel and Travel channel were my favorite channels. They were interesting and I could watch them for hours. History has evolved to dumb reality tv pawn shop stars shows, the travel channel is nothing but paranormal activity crap. I get more out of HGTV now.

Reality TV is much cheaper to produce so that is what all networks show now

Bruh pawn stars is awesome.

Same with Ancient Aliens and chit..

Great shows, I put them on as background noise when cooking or working from home.

The shows are entertaining without taking up too much time or mental energy focusing on them.

There is variety in both channels. Not just those shows. You just have to check the schedule.

Pawn Stars is fun. Yes, it is all acting, but Chum Lee is funny, plus you really can get informative stuffs about things.
