Maybe we should start a prepping thread so unaware miscers aren't caught emptyhanded.
Picture this scenario... Trump wins, but Kamala (and Biden) refuse to concede. The mobs get the orders from their controllers to become ultraviolent. The left decides to wage a civilian guerilla war over the election. All of the major cities explode, but revolutionaries also begin torching suburban neighborhoods. Gas stations and grocery stores are attacked and burned. Sabotage of the power grid begins. Random murders designed to terrify the middle class into submission occur. In short, they begin putting into practice their slogans about making the middle class uncomfortable. The first couple of weeks of Kung Flu lockdown and empty grocery stores look like a walk in the park compared to the post election reality.
What are you doing now to prepare? You'll need toilet paper, food, water, medicine, gas, a generator of some sort, guns, ammo, and a place to bug out to.
I haven't done anything to get ready because until today, it didn't occur to me that what we've been seeing for the past 3 months is essentially the pre-game warmup for November 4th.
I don't have a place to bug out to. I have a little bit of ammo. I am unprepared for what COULD happen. I don't think this scenario is all that improbable either. I need to start getting preparations underway...

I live in a downtown and have plans to get out quickly if need be. Original plan was to be in another state by now, but it doesn't look like that is going to happen.
I've moved weapons to my parent's place in the suburbs along with some other important items. Still have Handgun/AR/ammo with me just in case. I'm usually stocked up on food/water, even before the Covid nonsense. Will probably move my pets to the burbs a few days before election too just in case.
The good* thing is that these riots are usually planned/coordinated ahead of time and I know how to get that info.

Not a bad idea to collect your important documents together too. If you've got to leave quickly, an already prepared briefcase or backpack can save you lots of time you might not have.
Now that we had a dry run with the Kung Flu lockdown, what did we learn? What preparations did we miss and what preparations were pointless? It goes without saying that we should all start hoarding TP again. Post election, that's most likely the new currency.

Saving as much money as I can. With globalization, automation, and unprecedented wealth inequality, expect the job market to become hyper-competitive and wages to drop dramatically.

Enough guns and ammo for my friends/family. Will probably pick up a .308 sniper rifle and some more ammo. All my girls know who will protect them if sht hits the fan.

We already have a bit of a โprepper pantryโ going. Chit could hit the fan and weโd be fine, same as when the pandemic hit. We didnโt have to panic buy. Everyone should have at least a months worth of extra, shelf stable, food regardless of whatโs going on.
What I did learn from a few months ago, is to stock things you might not need, but someone you know might. Like baby Tylenol. Broke my heart when another miscer couldnโt get medicine for his infant who was sick because turds had panic purchased all the stock at the stores around him. Now I keep a package in my stock for this. Also items that might be used for barter or trade.

I'm just about done making my chainlink armor suit. Already have a baseball helmet to go with it. I wanna buy a gun soon but recently moved states and need to get a drivers license out here to purchase one.

Im in a smaller suburban town outside of a larger city.
Have a handgun with a few hundred rounds of ammo. Buying an AR shortly and have ordered about 600 rounds.
Have a small food storage at the moment about 80lbs of rice, 10lbs of frozen chicken, 8lbs rolled oats and looking to get more. Have a small shortwave radio as well. Have a plan to leave town and head to my GFs family in small rural West Virgina (town of about 3k). I will also have a 1 month old around this time. So if I need to bug out Im bugging out.
Not much but working on it.

If Trump is smart, he will have thousands of National Guards ready across the country after the election. The truth is, a lot of these riots could be stopped easily if they actually used serious firepower like the armed forces, or even just the full force of the national guard (what's been done in Portland has been half-assed). He isn't doing it now incase it hurts his re-election chances (civilian casualties by national guard would be all over the news). But if he wins, he'll have nobody left to impress & should unleash the hounds.

I still have to buy a gun btw.. fuark

Not expecting sh!t to get too crazy in Southern Maine where I am. It's a gun friendly state and most every household in Maine has at the very least a hunting rifle and owners that know how to shoot it.
They had a BLM "protest" here awhile back that had a lot of the town nervous. Shop owners that had big front windows boarded up. When the march came through, the sidewalks were a line of locals holding guns. Things stayed very peaceful (although a lot of protestors were severely butt hurt about the guns).
I can definitely see the store shelves being empty again. I have a decent pantry of non perishables but I'd like to build it up a bit more.
Ammo stockpile is decent and arsenal of guns are ready.
If I need to bug out, I'm going straight to my old man's. Very rural location, tons of food, frozen, canned, you name it, generator, firewood (for that long Maine winter), a sh!t load of guns, even more ammo, plus reloading supplies and equipment.

Just for those who don't know... if water goes out, don't flush or shower. You have potable water in your hot water heater. Save it. It's precious. It could get you through the first difficult days if SHTF for real.

lol at thinking the liberal left would pose any kind of significant physical threat to the rest of society backed by the conservative right. It will be the Kyle Rittenhouse situation on a larger stage with more backing by the general public. Not to mention every police force and the military would be backing the right.

Do you guys actually believe something is going to happen? I'm not so naive to think it could never happen, but I don't think anything's gonna happen. People will riot for two weeks and then it'll be like "okay just get through these next four years..."

Its hard to see trump winning since everyone hates him. He had hype his first term, thats why he won.
But on the other hand biden is an idiot who will let the country burn
