Huge improvement in skin quality from carrot smoothie daily srs

Lol at sloots thinking they need expensive creams to have good skin quality. It's a marginal gain vs the glow you get from eating a fruits/veggie smoothie every day.

The past two weeks I've been adding a fuk ton of carrots to my smoothie and my skin looks as good as it did in my late teens srs

Best and easiest source of Vitamin is actually liver. Beef liver contains so much vitamin a that if you eat too much you can actually experience slight vitamin a poisoning.
Hm.. why not just supplement with vit A pills then?

gotta eat it with fat to absorb the vitamin A

can also use Kale as well which I blend with dark chocolate, grinded chia seeds, almonds, canned low-sodium black beans, frozen blue/blackberries, frozen raspberries, bananas, egg yolks, lot of lemons, orange juice, zinc tablet, vitamin D tablets, collagen powder

or I do

Kale with grinded flax seeds, walnuts, hazelnuts, lemons, orange juice, carrots, egg yolks, shredded coconut, bananas, frozen strawberries, vitamin d tablets, b12 tablet

I would stop now. I did the sweet potato and carrot thing for years and got serious hypervitaminosis A. Soon as your skin starts turning you're getting toxic levels of Vitamin a. Your body can only get rid of so much in 1 day without dying, so it stores in your skin, that's what changes the color of it. I still have too much vitamin a in my system after 3 months of eating 0 of it

I know you're not at this level but it proves vitamin a is toxic in crazy high levels, if your body releases too much in the body at one time you legit die, that's why you can only detox so much in 1 day
https://www.nytimes.com/1974/02/17/a...ons-death.html
His skin was bright yellow when he died.
obviously you won't have issues now, but what about in a few years if you keep going? vitamin a will still accumulate in your body.

btw my feet and hands are still yellow after not eating ANY vitamin A for 3 months. It's a slow process, my face used to be kinda yellow but it went away

turning orange is fine its called carotenemia and not lethal. its harmless

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Carotenosis

now eating too much preformed vitamin A and supplementing with vitamin A is supposed to be a problem. but you can eat as much veggies containing vitamin A as you want. go ahead and continue eating carrots/sweet potato

Dr. David Haler, the pathologist who performed an autopsy, said that the effect of the enormous intake of Vitamin A from carrots and tablets was indistinguishable from alcoholic poisoning. It produces the same result, he saidβ€”cirrhosis of the liver.
c'mon bro.

I didn't take any supps and still got hypervitaminosis A from sweet potatos and carrots every day. who cares if it wasn't lethal, my quality of life went to chit and I looked diseased from the yellow color of my skin

I used to eat at least a pound of carrots everyday. i had a pound actually yesterday and over a pound of spinach which has vitamin A and the day before over a pound of kale, I eat a ton of greens (in smoothie form) and I turn orange too and my skin is nice. its that glow that people talk about.
Q.
Since healthy people have carotenemia, a slightly orange hue to their skin, does this correlate and/or cause a decrease in skin cancer?

A.
Absolutely, a Nutritarian diet colors the skin with protective phytochemicals. The carotene coloration parallels the heightened concentration of other important phytonutrients, so the real protection comes from the synergistic effects of all the healthy foods, which is not the same as taking carotene from a supplement.

Eating vegetables colors the skin and decreases risk of skin cancer.

'From the article you linked

"The coroner's court heard evidence this week that Basil Brown, a scientist had taken 70 million units of Vitamin A in 10 days. In addition he was drinking about a gallon of carrot juice a day during that time. His skin was bright yellow when he died"

WTF.

I undestand your point but i look like a completely different person when i take beta carotene. It's the ultimate aeshtetic hack. In fact, it's depressing as hell. I'm naturally pale/dark circles (genetics) and don't tan well. When i take a lot of beta carotene girls literally start mirin me. The difference is night and day. I wish i was permanently like that. I go from a 6/10 to a 7-8/10.

I take spirulina tablets + sweet potato powder + greens powder (with beta carotene/carrot powder) .

but not all the time though

all I'm saying there is a huge middle ground between being healthy to dying. It's not like cancer just kills you, your quality of life just slowly and slowly gets worse till you die, kinda like hypervitaminosis A. People don't suspect it's the vitamin a either so maybe they eat more of it in "healthy" foods.

btw a lot of people get Vitamin a in supplements without even realizing, like their multi or maybe they take cod liver for the vitamin D and omegas without knowing it's full of A

70M units of VitA and a Gallon of carrot juice seems exponentially more than 1 carrot smoothie per day. But we'll see

Carrots have a lot of Vitamin A man, be careful.

This is one of those fat soluble vitamins. It gets stored in your organs, and only used in small bits typically.

It has really toxic implications when built up to toxic volumes.

I had to stop adding extra carrots to my salads because the amount of Vitamin A I was taking in wasn't healthy.

A neat trick for burning up vitamin stores involves doing intense exercise to hug the deficit state.

Skip your multi and force the body to use up what it has.

Lol @ dying from eating too many carrots

As the kunt above said carrots don't even contain vitamin A, just the precursor. If you have too much vitamin A your body is just going to stop converting beta carotene into vitamin A.
A young bull and an old bull were standing atop a hill looking at a bunch of heifers in a field below.

The young bull says "Let's run down this hill and fuk one of those heifers."

The old bull replies "No. Let's walk down there, and fuk them all."
