But online messageboards (free) are increasingly becoming the focus of targeted spammers desperate to have their belief system validated in a perpetual echo chamber of misery.

I think what's going on is that people are trying to reach the expectations of society and when they can't meet those expectations ,they think that something is wrong with them

It's toxic man but it's prevalent, it's everywhere and it stems from insecurity but you can't fault them
