No mask crew

I live in a place with 99.9% compliance with state mask order. I went on 2 vacations in past month and saw rampant noncompliance along interstates and tourist areas. I went to home depot and got some paint mixed and went to costco without a mask. No one said anything to me. I went to academy to look at the empty shelves and an employee at the door said something, but i told him i had health issue and doc said not to wear one and that was all that was said. Phuck it i dont care anymore.

I live in a blue state, and in the city nearly everyone wears them, even when driving around by themselves, or outside in the park. Once you get out of the city and suburbs no one wears them outside of big retail stores, and many people take them off once inside. In non-chain stores even the employees don't wear them despite the harsh mandates.

it's very on or off here

increasingly becoming a joke though, many cops around the city themselves aren't even wearing it while others i've heard are actually giving tickets for it

i wear a comfortable gaiter on my neck and only wear it if entering a store that requires it

I am so tired of the nit picky little bullchit rules too. Every other table at restaurants taped off and closed. Fuking floor mats and tape telling you where to stand. Half the urinals and toilets closed, making everyone use the same toilet to #slowthespread. Fitting rooms closed so you have to return clothes you find out at home dont fit and then someone else buys that piece of clothing later after it was handled by 3 store employees. Im mad as hell and im not taking this anymore. I bought a tshirt today and just took mine off in the store and out the other one on, i dont need a god dam fitting room fuk off.

How do these blm people find out where their governors live? I am going to sit outside her house and shine lights inside and chant for her to wake up under the guise of blm protest so nobody will do anything to me and after 3 weeks of torment i will reveal it is all because she is an old ass woman that has extended the mask order multiple times. fuk that bitch.

Yea it's sad OP. Usually I see a couple people like some mothers or older ladies without one on, or I saw a dad and his kid without one on at the grocery store.

The past week I have been out and about a lot to home depot, meijer, jewel, etc. I was the only person in every store without one on. After 6 months of this chit. No one has ever said anything, and usually greet me nicely. A while ago had a cop with a mask on hold the door open for me at a place that requires masks lol. No one actually gives a fuk, but everyone still wears it like retards.

People are just broken now. No one has any balls or morale left.

I do see some hope though. Pritzker added more restrictions for my county, but my town within the county is fighting back and said they will not follow those guidelines. They are also suing pritzker. So that's a good sign.

I wear one just to not be a pain for people working.
I don't care at all if people don't wear them though. I believe I have read even if 50% of people wore them it would be quite effective. The people who complain about people not wearing them are complete morons.
Assuming masks actually work, the difference between 90% of people wearing masks and 99% is probably not even measurable if 50% of people wearing masks is effective as a lower threshold.

Mask work very well in blocking sneezes and coughs, which is what spreads the virus.

Most people don't cover their fkn mouth properly when they sneeze. Its why we all have to wear mask because of this incel behavior.

My city has been 100% inside mask wearing for a couple months now(big lib city), and this week I noticed some people starting to say "fuk it" again. I even forgot to wear mine into the gas station once, and just rolled with it. Now that schools begin again tomorrow and it's effectively Fall, COVID is going to magically disappear from the news cycle in favor of the election. I'd imagine within the next few weeks I'll gradually stop wearing mine in places where I know the employees don't care.

Well what everyone doesn't realize OP is that they made people care, made non-mask wearers the devil, and used the idiocy of people to police themselves.

No one around here actually cares. No one will do anything. But people are afraid of social shame and afraid of confrontation from their peers. It's pathetic.

People are policing this, not the actual police. These government officials are laughing their ass off watching it.
