Girlfriends mum probably has pancreatic cancer, anyone here experienced it?
My girlfriends mum got a check up and they said it doesn't look good, the tail end of the pancreatic duct is about 2.1mm (2mm is high i think its normally meant to be around 1.3mm) . Shes waiting on a second opinion scan in 4 weeks time but its not looking good. I'm hoping if it is then its an early detection and it can be cut out but I keep reading online about how its the worst cancer because its near impossible to treat and often comes back. 5 year survival rate is something like 12%.
This is gonna absolutely devastate my girlfriend and could potentially kill the relationship if she decides she needs to return to her home state to be with her family
Any miscers experienced a family member with it?

Sorry to hear brah, unfortunately I never met anyone with pancreatic cancer so I can't help you. Hope all ends well.
