Why is being a Chad considered a bad thing outside of Misc?

Chad is considered a compliment/good thing on here. Chad is considered a bad thing outside of this forum from talking to certain people and on reddit. Why is that the case?

Because people hate admitting being jealous and want others to be as unsuccesful, average, unattractive, out of shape. And most of all hate being confronted with how their life would be if they put in the effort and could've been the dominant achieving and ultimately 'free' Chad which they can't be.

Chad is the person that a redditor wants to be but he would never be, so it would be easier to downtalk. Also low test - whiners and edgy haters usually are the typical suspects. You would recognise them from miles away.
