Sporting events with no fans is the lamest thing ever

I don't even know how sports are even watchable right now. Sports are supposed to help take our minds away from all of the other b.s. that consumes our lives on a daily basis and they have now become politicized past the point of no return. A lot of fans aren't coming back, either. If I were an athlete, I wouldn't even want to compete if there were no fans in the stands because I almost wouldn't even see the point. What do you guys think? Are sports over? Will we ever care about them like we once did?

It's fukin depressing. I tried to watch 1 Stanley Cup game and it just bummed me out

I have no problem watching a Mariners home game on tv. It looks and sounds almost 100% normal. However when they are on the road playing the angels for instance. That club doesn’t have the fan cut outs...just completely empty seats. I mean it’s gay but it actually helps.

Golf was not an issue for me either considering how it ended on Sunday. I couldn’t believe how Dustin Johnson lost. The skill of the players overshadowed the fact that fans aren’t there.
