Canada should eliminate French from being an official language (semi-srs)

There is very little justification for keeping French as an official language in Canada. It honestly seems like the ultimate cuckery. Only 20% of the population can speak French, almost all of them live in Quebec and speak an ugly, butchered version of the language. The rest of Canada speaks English.

I have no problem with Quebec keeping French as their official language, but to waste millions of tax dollars on printing chit in a language no one gives a fuk about ludicrous. This would be like America forcing everything to be printed in English and Spanish. Dumb af.

You canucks need to force Trudeau to grow some balls and stand up to the French-Canadian militants holding your country hostage.

I don't see how an "official language" holds the country hostage but I'd support Quebec not being part of Canada.

Because as a result your entire society bends over backwards for a tiny population of people who live in one province and also happen to speak/understand English. Your government is beholden to them.

It’s also sad when hard working members of Canadian society get screwed out of a job because they’re not bilingual. This happens even outside of Quebec.

I just hate seeing my friends to the north get squeezed out of
tax money while being led by a beta-cuck.

Ya for the majority of us it seems pretty useless unless you want to land a government job in Ottawa (or live/work in Quebec, obviously).

Outside of that i cant recall one scenario in my life where French would have helped me. The two times ive been to France my french was all but useless because of our poverty dialect.

Completely agree, the problem is that no PM will ever stand up and say f you Frenchies, we are doing away with it. Literally nobody cares about the language except Quebecers, some people who live in Ottawa and a couple of people in New Brunswick.

It has been a problem for way longer than Trudeau has been around because nobody will risk losing Quebec's votes. And the fact it is a job requirement for government is absolutely ridiculous.

If anyone ever ran on a platform to get rid of it they would get my vote likely based on that alone.

So true. I remember when Kevin O’Leary was running for the Conservative party leadership a few years ago. He was polling 1st by a wide margin and almost certainly would’ve been elected, then gone on to defeat Trudeau in 2019. You guys were about to have an alpha leader just like Trump.

Then he dropped out. His excuse? He didn’t have support in Quebec because he spoke poor French.

Yet he was on track to win in a landslide without them...

Even O’Leary got cucked by the Frenchies.

Sad.

His father was the originator if bilingualism.

He even declared martial law in Quebec. That’s why the libs are still unpopular there.

I fully support Quebec taking steps to preserve its culture

They don't because French Canadians are far more alpha and mog the gay beta Anglocel Canadians.
A young bull and an old bull were standing atop a hill looking at a bunch of heifers in a field below.

The young bull says "Let's run down this hill and fuk one of those heifers."

The old bull replies "No. Let's walk down there, and fuk them all."

This is always the argument. But what they speak in Quebec is even mocked by French people in France. It's a different dialect. They should just call it Quebecoise and allow the rest of the country to forget about it.

People in France are pretentious. That Parisienne accent is garbage.
