Getting rid of the ACT and SAT requirement for next Fall applicants is a joke

The test is stupid yes but it’s a way to show you’re willing to put in the effort to separate yourself from the pack.

There’s a lot of kids who put in a lot of hard work to earn good scores and now that’s just totally tossed out of the window.

These testing centers need to stop being *******s and just offer the tests already. F*ck this Covid horsesh*t.

Should colleges not be allowed to judge based on extracurriculars either since everything has been shut down for the year? No you should have done stuff before this year. Just like you should have taken your SAT/ACT already.

Clown world = let’s flip a coin to see who gets in to the most prestigious schools now and who gets the best scholarships now.

Earning things has completely flown out the window in 2020

It's part of the plan. Duh. Libs hate standardized tests because the results are racially charged. The strategy is to make them pass/fail and ultimately to get rid of them.

SAT Math 720/800 and ACT 34/36 in math checking in.

These tests alone netted me a full-ride scholarship to college.

Now how will the poorcels (like me) make it?

The Harvard/Yale/Princeton kid of 2025 will probably be the same or worse than a fukhead from Arizona state

SAT/ACT is an absolute fuking joke. Studying your ass off for a test that is just General Education Requirements. And putting your entire college career in the balance? Over a 4hour exam on fuk**** that NONE of adults are using in real life?

Liberals love to hate objective standards of any type.

As someone who has taught at the university level I can say that many of my best students weren't exactly academic all-stars coming out of high school (i.e. great SAT/ACT, high GPA etc).
