The Godfather 3 is getting re-released in theaters with new ending

Francis Ford Coppola is going to give the world a better version of this botched classic film. Apparently there will be new scenes, a different ending and some changes to the general story.

I honestly enjoyed The Godfather Part III. Did it live up to the quality of the other parts? Of course not, but it was still a good story. Al Pacino and Diane Keaton were fantastic. The Vatican storyline was enthralling and I think the ending was one of the best of the series. Remove Sophia Coppola from the movie and it goes from a 6/10 to a 8/10.

Kinda looking forward to this new directors cut.

I prefer III to II.

It's a 6/10, whereas II is a 9/10 for the Vito flashbacks and a 2/10 at best for the Cuba/Roth snoozefest.

I liked one, who couldn’t. So many great scenes and stories. But I thought number 2 was steamy ****, Michael Corleone character became an emo depressed wife beater, and worst sin of all, the movie overdosed on Fredo. On top of that none of the scenes or characters were interesting or memorable at all. The only good parts were the flashbacks. Everything else sucked.

Yeah i was reading coppala changed a lot of it and its a better movie i hope so cause 3 was pretty bad. But ill go see it to check out the changes

III was garbage. It was too “plot driven” if that makes sense. I and II just had much better flow. GF II is still the best of the trilogy.

They doing this to get people back in theaters. Theyre not putting out new chit any time soon knowing its going to flop because people either arent allowed to go to the theater or will be too afraid to go.

There is a small theater chain where i live that is pretty cool, $5-6 for either new (and really chitty movies) or older ones. like 2-4 other people even in the theater.
