How do you handle extended family asking why you dont have gf / wife ?

I have 8 cousins on one side. 6 of them have been married and divorced. The other two have girlfriends. I might be seeing my family soon and I know one of the aunts will ask why I dont have a gf or wife. I dont want to sperg out and talk about the modern situation. And I dont want to say anything bad about the cousins that have been divorced. Should I just say "I havent found the right person." ? Last time I saw them was 5 years ago and when I said that my one aunt told me to try online dating and it was hard to not say something to her. How do you handle that question? I live on the other side of the country from them so I dont see them and we never talk on the phone or anything.

I feel you OP. I have 4 older female cousins on my one side, and my sister who is 3 years older. My cousins are all between 34-40. I'm now 29. 3 are married with kids and have been for a while, and the youngest one who is now 34, has a bf finally. My sister has a bf who she has been with for 4 years and he is 39 and has a kid.

They always bring it up to me now. I just say I haven't found a good match for me. Looking for the right one. That's it. All my cousins got married older though, as females, but because everyone has someone and I'm the youngest, sometimes I think they lump me in with all of them like I'm a similar age. It gets annoying.

Many people are shocked when they find out that I'm single. TBH, living in a smaller community doesn't make it easier to meet anyone. Granted, I am really close with those at my church, but there really aren't any girls my age there.
