Aight misc just had a FB couch sale go down that went bad.

Was selling an older couch piece. Had many people message about it. about 20. Had 3 coming today that I thought was showing up. I get home at 5, and two different ones are still messaging me. One said he will be at my house in about 20 minutes and someone shows up in exactly 20 minutes. They love it and bought it right then. as we are loading up a douchebag in a ford ranger shows up and rolls the window down and says "so you wasted my ****ing time like that?" I said I told you someone is coming at the same time. Keep in mind the couple buying it has two kids right there hearing this, and he told me to go **** myself.

Now misc tell me how you would handle this, and ill reply back on how I handled it. I also had JUST put my 1 year old up in her bed with my 160 pound rottie outside.

You must have informed him that you might sell it before he arrives. Someone else will also come to "see" the item means that you do not want to sell it, at least to me, just yet. You did wrong, especially if he drove a long way, not that it justifies what he did in anyway but what he did was not exactly out of the blue, *******.

First come first serve. You snooze you lose.

I've had customers before who i sold weights to, who i had to reject because person A would pick them up.
Fast forward, persoon A never shows up and just drops all contact, meanwhile i told customer B i was sold out.

From then on, i simply tell people they can pick it up if they're the first one here. But i'm not reserving them for anyone anymore, unless they pay in advance.

He didn't go to the hospital. he had a gash on his arm, on my property. Cops wrote the report and told the dude it isn't a criminal matter unless i wanted to press charges. they told him he is free to file a civil suit if he thinks he is in the right.
