Coworker insisting I pay for breakfast
I just got back to work from breakfast with one of my coworkers. He is demanding I compensate his meal because he wanted to leave and I refused.
He wanted to leave because while we we were eating outside, some homeless guy on the sidewalk threw up and then took a chit in the street. He was disgusted and wanted to leave. I didn't because we already ordered and you couldn't really smell it. He was still outraged.
I think he is being dramatic and I am refusing to pay for his food.

Call him a low test beta. If he had any balls he'd shake down that homeless dude for ruining his meal. Instead he's targeting you because he knows you and he feels comfortable targeting someone he is familiar with.

Did you ride in the same car?
If yes just say - “I realize that you wanted to leave and I did not. In the future let’s take separate cars. I’m not paying you ****”. Maybe not that but you get the point. He felt powerless and stuck there and he’s a cheap ass (Uber was an option if he was that disgusted). He wants to regain it.
If no then he could have left at any moment and he’s being even more of a pansy
