3 bdrm 2.5 bath. building had good security and legitimately right on beach any closer it'd be in the water.

I wouldn't buy RE in columbia unless I was a native or it represented a very, very small portion of my overall net worth. I'm sure you've heard the saying 'if it sounds too good to be true, it is', in this case an OK looking (laundry room in the kitchen lol nothx) condo on beachfront for 270k. Good deal, methinks the reason is that its a 3rd world country with a US State Department travel advisory.

Wouldn't buy/10 unless my net worth was at least 20 mil

i've been there, stayed in an airbnb in this exact building.

Of course colombia is a safe haven, but that's also why your dollar goes so far (andddd it's a lot more fun, for reasons)


Regarding laundry. same layout in the airbnb i stayed in again in said building. there was a sliding door but yeah. who cares? i sure don't. hell i rarely do laundry as is. lel

you need to pay in full for a place. like legit i dont even think you can get a mortgage,and if you do the rates sure aren't remotely as attractive as u.s. mortgage rates




regarding room: ya man if im there you're free to stay for a bit just don't get me in too much trouble (if i get the place) and if not then it'll be on airbnb so feel free. i plan to live there at least for a bit if i got it, like maybe half the year each year, so ya odds in your favor. otherwise it's easy to rent out and have cleaners come andthe building basically handles all airbnbs/short term rentals. not HOA nonsense like usa

. Fuking FIRE and i'm serious. really helps if you can speak spanish just for language barrier however. In fact, i've never seen anything like what i've seen in the colombian airports (Bogota, CTG). Like legit thought it was a fairytale. Was travelling with a friend we we were just like....dude....wtf is going on....in the best way possible

Got some bad news if you think this isn't a killer place for a quarter milli. and the building is like tallest in all CTG. Rooftop pool. super modern interior. 24/7 security. most beautiful view. not sure what floor this is on but from pic angle i was roughly thismany stories up possibly higher, the view is just next level. location is stellar


but with last part. location is stellar. it's in a tourist/business area of a fairly seedy city in a rather seedy country.

we were fine. just don't take a road trip to peru or anything. jungle areas get a little sketchy. this is their pride and joy though they take good care of people there, generally speaking. beggars from Venezuela however. see: tourist area (aka foreigners, money) and see: borders Venezuela.

Not bad but if I had a coastal view like that I'd want to be lower to see the waves and chit. From that high up it won't look as nice srs. They ha e one available on the 4th floor?

Even the waves in the coast weren't anything special. read soemwhere the first 9 floors are parking (its a big building).


Don't get me wrong, super quaint beautiful peaceful chit waves, but not like surfer waves. it's in their shipping hub kinda. well its off to the side quite far but ya. port area

Sure, but that advisory is due to a mild cold. The advisory in Columbia is due to likelihood of terrorism and kidnapping, a tad different unless you are a 78 year old diabetic cancer patient.

I don't do laundry either, my lady does, but I still don't want the machine in my kitchen.

One in central, one is south america. for like <20k USD in their bank accounts basically. same chit - somebody noticed they have nice things. if you grew up in colombia, speak fluently and know what's up locally you might be okay but otherwise you gonna light up as a rich oiled up foreign booty ready for plowing

yeah no there's broke people there. again it borders venezuela. but i solo travel and live in africa and the middle east just because i want to. not work or anything. i'm odd. also, it's why our dollar goes so far. no risk no reward yadda yadda. lifes too boring for me to care. would i raise my own children there if i had any? would i want my parents to visit when elderly? can't say so. but ya itd be a vacation getaway (i can work anywhere so idk might be there half the year+ or whatever but thats besides the point).

street sense goes a long way anywhere. not fluent currently in spanish but knew far enough to get around just finewhen i was last there. that being said yes english is minimal outside of otherr tourists
