What are your retirement funds invested in?

I have:

-Pension

-IRA
SWPPX-SCHWAB S&P 500 INDEX FD

-Roth IRA
SWPPX-SCHWAB S&P 500 INDEX FD
SWYHX-SCHWAB TARGET 2045 INDEX

-Employee sponsored fund:
SWYHX-SCHWAB TARGET 2045 INDEX

SWPPX-SCHWAB S&P 500 INDEX FD

SWYJX-SCHWAB TARGET 2055 INDEX

I need to find out how to roll over my employer acct and roll it into my other accounts...since I have to pay higher fees through my employer


Do yall have any more riskier funds you invest in?

Total Market funds (VTSAX or equivalent), 100%.

Not a fan of target date funds as they're very heavily weighted into bonds.

that's what I pay my financial advisor for. that and all the cool tax dodging loop holes.

they just want your percent. sure they might one near but we're talking retirement/long term
its not just about picking stocks. its a whole financial strategy to minimize tax liability, manage risk, time stock options, etc.

example: I don't have time to watch the market every day to for drops in stock price. My guy does, sells my sh!t, and we take a loss on paper. turn around 24 hours later, buy the same stock for basically the same price except now I have a 'loss' that can be used to offset capital gains when we do sell for profit.
