I think I have COVID

I feel like I got COVID or I got some cold, started on Wednesday after I finished my workout. The week before then I was belching pretty frequently midway through my weight lifting session.

Symptoms include: Post-nasal drip, runny nose, acid reflux, weird swallowing, gas/stomach problems (was having these long before I even experienced these symptoms), some dry cough, and then weird radiating body pains such as chest, shoulder blade, back, oblique, sides, etc. I should say that a lot of these issues come and go, like I get a headache for like 5 minutes and then it's gone and it becomes something else soon.

It's weird, sleep makes it better. If I had a really bad sore throat, yellow mucus blowing my nose I would think it's just a standard cold, but it's just different.

Any COVID brahs have similar symptoms?

The digestive symptoms didn’t start for me until I was over the worst symptoms. The body aches sound similar though. The headache is what I will remember the most though.

Have had covid brah checking in, chit was lame. Wouldn't even have noticed it if others at the event I attended didn't warn me to get checked.

At worst is was like mild allergies.

Edit: I did get that headache thing you listed. It was odd how it would hit and then go away fairly quickly.

I am not going to get tested, just gonna wait 2 weeks since I don't really have breathing problems, do have random chest pains that mimic heartburn. The symptoms are very annoying/different.

Also been getting weird arm pains now, guess it radiated from traps to shoulder.

You know what's better than an actual test? Asking the misc or googling your symptoms

BRB, feel like I have had allergies for the past week. Basically dry/red eye in one eye, runny nose pretty consistent. Thats about it though.

I never have allergies so IDK

I had these plus loss of taste and smell. Took a covid test and it was negative so it was just a cold.

Unless you get tested you won’t know for sure

Try citrulline or some other (good) arginine source. Sinus and gut both produce lots of nitric oxide as a primary weapon against many different pathogens. Most people think of eNOS with they think of nitric oxide in the body, which gives dilated blood vessels, but iNOS (indicuble NOS) is made by immune cells, cells in your sinus walls, and gut cells to kill bacteria. It is very important in immunity.

Usually the body can make enough from protein sources. But sometimes the body can "get behind" where all the arginine is used up quickly when its available and there's not enough nitric oxide to stay ahead of the bacteria and mutated cells that NO helps to initiate self destruction. L-arginine is a bad source, as the body produces a lot of argininase which breaks down arginine. Citrulline has been shown to achieve much higher and consistent blood levels of arginine than taking arginine itself.

Could be, but also sounds like GERD.

Post nasal drip, shooting pains in chest, back, stomach, heartburn/reflux, bad sleep, belching, etc... are all pretty consistent with GERD.

Get tested for COVID and see what's what. Or, try pepcid-ac or prilosec and some alkaseltzer and see if you feel better.

Last time I had GERD/Acid Reflux, it was ruled a stomach flu. She told me that colds/flus can give you Acid Reflux because it did go away. Nothing really makes it better either tbh, pepcid, tums, i did buy prilosec otc though. I'll give it to 2 weeks.

If you think it's possible it's COVID it can't hurt to get tested.

A lot of things can cause GERD symptoms and a virus can spark a battle with it too.

But if you don't have a fever or bad cough or if the COVID test comes back negative I would definitely look into GERD.
