Has anyone successfully fixed bad posture? (rounded shoulders)

How'd you do it?

Will making your core stronger, help?

I found one video that showed an exercise..similar to a face pull but with an internal grip.

Is it just a matter of focusing on certain muscles to make them stronger?

you need to retrain or rewire your brain. be very self conscious of your posture(correct posture) and you must maintain this until it becomes second nature and you can maintain it without conscious thought

the Thompson bowtie helps - it's not a correcter despite what the knockoffs claim as much as it helps stretch your musculature that is often hunched forward from sitting

Before I lost weight/started working out my posture was completely fuked...was sitting close to 300lbs with full on kyphosis from a lifetime of sitting at a computer hunched over. Over time it corrected itself after years of pulling movements.

I have not completely fixed mine, but doubling down on back days and stretching my chest after every workout has done a number on it.

in4 answers. I bought one of those backbrace things that allegedly fix bad posture (a knockoff of the one advertised on snapchat), but I haven't used it consistently yet.

My problem is that I sleep with my shoulders hunched up, even with a memory foam pillow. so my shoulders get 6-8 hours of being hunched up like that every day.

This. Its like my shoulders gravitate towards my end when i sleep. Im sure my rest could be better if i didnt have so much stress and tension in my traps.
