The device had four short 12 bore shotgun barrels lined up as a fan. While unarmed they were in a vertical position, and did not pose a threat to people farming. I'm not at all familiar with the history of this one, other than the standard "evil white people were being racist and oppressive" story they tell us in school.

Is there a good documentary or book that explains the facts of the conflict?
