I know how basic algorithms and bots work in a general sense. I also knew about data harvesting and surveillance capitalism and how the big corporations can and are using it not only to predict your shopping patterns, but to actually influence your decision making. The latter being the most concerning. If you want an interesting documentary to watch check this out.

If you've already seen it, discuss.

I'll just keep putting my trust on God, live as righteous as i can and try not to feed into news and negativity so much, might even throw my iphone and get a flip phone and just use my PC and try and live as low key as i can. This is not good on my mental

Watched the trailer yesterday and thought it looked interesting. Thanks for the recommendation.

I tried to watch The Great Hack (Netflix doc. on Cambridge Analytica) but it didn't really grab my interest, so hopefully this one is a little more engaging.

Don't be afraid. Just be aware. Throwing away some technology that we have for personal use just might be the right thing to do at this point.

Never forget boys: if the service is free, you are not the customer, you are the product.
Smooth Seas don't make Strong Sailors. Keep your head up.

Also don't let it become an addiction. There are only 2 entities that refer to their customers as users. Drug dealers and Software companies.

You should ask EOD if he would like to discuss this with you.
