see them from time to time where i live (national guard @ scottsdale airport, smaller airport)

and a bunch of them on the navy base in coronado. sight to see my boys

I don’t think that’s what these were. Google shows that those have rotor blades side-by-side.

These had what looked like one in the front and one in the back.

I took this a few weeks ago, down in Maryland visiting my sister. Her husband is in the navy and we rented a boat and drove near the airfield during flight testing and got to see alot of cool stuff fly over.





I have a few other vids with some f18s landing and blowing my ear drums I haven't uploaded yet

yeah sorry the drank got to me. troop transport mainly but also can be used for supplies (chinooks).

I work right next to the airport on base. I see A-10s daily flying between here and Tucson. Might get some F-16s thrown in there every now and then.

I probably know even less than your grandma about helicopters, but Google does seem to indicate that it might be a Boeing CH-47 Chinook.
