Fear.

But I don't know anyone. I know people are pretty much sick of it, and the majority of honest interactions I have with strangers indicate that people are still compliant out of respect, but otherwise, to hell with these masks.

I don't go out unless I have to.

I have a job out and about people and I have to travel up and down the east coast.

So that's enough exposure.

I'll go to the store and post office if I need to. Grab food out if I need to.

Otherwise I stay home.

I haven't left my house since 430pm yesterday.

My wife's cousin barely leaves her house. She just had a baby and her mother offered to stay with her for a couple weeks. She's making her wear a mask while she's there.

Ya but they're in Melbourne so the only thing waiting outside their door is a policewomyn's baton. It's okay because they're doing it for grandpa, who has lost the will to live after not seeing another human being for months.

Funny enough know a bunch (all fat asses) not going to the gym or working out because of this.


Your health is better off exercising and exposing yourself to Covid than sitting inside all day and avoiding everything.

I would say most people I know are still afraid and only go out when necessary. It actually blows my mind. Leads to arguments like we are discussing religion or politics.

If people are scared to leave their house or wear a mask in their car they aren't people you'd want to fratenise with anyway.
