The first trailer for DUNE (2020) is hnnnnng




Denis Villeneuve (Arrival, Prisoners, Sicario, Blade Runner 2049) is directing, so the visuals and cinematography are going to be epic for sure.

Star studded cast - Josh Brolin, Dave Bautista, Jason Momoa, Zendaya, Oscar Isaac, Javier Bardem, Stellan Skarsgard

I'll definitely have to re-read the books in preparation for this.

It was only a matter of time before they starting picking these up.
Personally cant wait for someone t pick up Neverwinter Nights, Icewind Dale (the hobbit visually proved they could easily do it) ect and doing a proper starcraft in future.

Read Dune so many times, saw the trailer not sure. Hopefully they go exactly by the book. Wish they would remake Star Ship Troopers and do exactly how Heinlein wrote it instead of the gay ass crap they actually made. Also wish they would make a movie based on Glory Road by Robert A. Heinlein

The director is the real deal, so really looking forward to seeing it in theatres(tenet can fuk off, no nepotismaxxing for me boyos).

Hes done Incendies, Enemy, Arrival, Prisoners, Blade runner 2049. All tier 1 movies.

Blade runner 2049 is in my top five all time. Enemy was really good, haven’t seen the rest.

Dune is the perfect mix of science, religion, philosophy, and magic. Herbert was a fkn genius. I doubt a movie can do it justice but... zendaya? Hnnng
