Anyone ever think as a kid "do people actually die in movies"?

As a kid I always wondered "did that person actually just die"?

And now I'm think maybe I was on to something (sometimes I still think that) cause maybe it's like some fked up satanic ritual that Hollywood people are all about

Like those 3 scenes of Kobe near a crashes helicopter leading up to his death

Like crazy Hollywood satanic sacrifices but they actually happened in the movie
