Cobra Kai really is the chit
I did karate and tae kwon do as a kid and found my way back to martial arts only at age 30 with jiu jitsu, after a really low point in my life. Karate Kid was one of my favorite movies growing up. Watched it over and over with my grandmother (who passed away last December).
Later, I actually got to meet Ralph Macchio when he filmed a short in my parents' apartment when I was like... 12? 13?
I can relate so hard to this show guys it's making my entire day.

I just love how it's anti-PC/SJW but now that Netflix owns it... we'll see if that changes.

It is good. Have a similar background as you as well. Karate kid was so great back in the day.

Also The Boys s2 is awesome.

I feel like it is wholesome and inspirational.
I like how they all have their problems they are working out. None of them are flawless heroes and none of them are an extreme enemy. Seems more realistic and relatable like you said.
Good show.

daniel larusso was one of my first heroes. had karate kid 2 on video and watched it a 100 times when I was a kid. its funny because I also started watching kobra kai a few days ago, and it just so happened that they kept showing karate kid 1,2 & 3 on tv so wathced them all again recently. karate kid 3 is in so bad its good territory, so corny its awesome, essence of the 80's
