In August 2018, Brailsford was reinstated by the Mesa Police Department, staying for a further 42 days in what the department described as a "budget position". The department agreed to reimburse Brailsford for medical expenses related to posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD). Brailsford's lawyer has said that Brailsford suffered PTSD due to his shooting of Shaver and the resultant criminal trial. The reinstatement allowed Brailsford to apply for "accidental disability" suffered during the course of work. As a result, Brailsford was unanimously approved to be retired on medical grounds. Brailsford was also given a pension of $2,500 per month.

for every michael brown video out there, there's also a daniel shaver video. For every george floyd video out there, there's a tony tempe (sp?) video.

when it comes to lethal police violence, the evidence strongly suggests that when contextualized, race is not a primary factor. But social media only blows it up when its a POC. Shame how the general public doesn't realize this.

This is by far the worst case of police shooting I’ve seen to date. Most people don’t even know about it


And fuk these cops. They were power trippin right out of the gate. There’s was no reason for all that.

that vid makes my blood boil, this is actual police brutality. this dude has no business being a cop and whoever rehired him to give him a pension should be hanged

How do legitimate cases of police brutality help advance marxism? There's literally no reason for any form of media to focus on Shaver because it doesn't help with their goals in any way

controversy sells. notice how most shootings that get coverage always have just enough leeway to where the officer and individual can both be blamed?
That little black kid that got gunned down in like 2 seconds by a cop when he was sitting on a bench didn't get half the attention george floyd did
