Anybody getting texts by spammers of dead bodies (srs)

I’m getting random texts from bots or Indians claiming I better sale them my house or else.

Thing is the address and person they have on text isn’t me lol.

And then they are sending pics of beheaded and dismembered bodies.

I’ve heard stories of people who tried to troll these people, and next thing you know the scammer signs you up for 10x the amount of calls lulz. Best to just ignore

Also found this story from 2 years ago out of Ohio about some lady who got a similar threat.

What’s weird about yours though is the graphic pictures and specific names/addresses. Typically they try one person a time or two and then move on to the next on their list. Why are they harassing you (thinking it’s someone else?) for months? Do you know the person they think you are?

Not saying they have any power to follow through with their threats, but a formal report might not be a bad idea just in case.
